I bought this poster a couple of years ago, not realizing it was a Mantis Design until I got home, made it even more exciting!!! It still gives me such a good feeling when I look at it. There are many times when I just lay staring at the pics and I can always find something new. I love, love, love it!

This was another one that was joy to design. During the run up to the war in Iraq I was shocked by the "bully" mentality that was going with it, and this was an outlet for me during that troubled time.

It really is a collage of three things: Just regular people giving the peace symbol with their fingers, pictures of peace rally's and organized gestures, and historical pictures that remind you of some of the really beautiful people of peace movements in the past. I liked the idea that the peace sign brought out the color from the black and white, and thought that illustrated a core problem with people who are quick to fight (they tend to see the world as black and white). I also designed the poster with a black border because I wanted it to have a powerful feeling about it. You're not a wimp if you stand for peace.
