This is the poster that got everything started. For that story, check out our history section. This poster is just pure fun with creativity, and I am amazed that we are STILL finding hilarious new “days” to have. I think we are closing in on a 900 different days, and this poster represents some of our best.

I’m glad I found your site. I’ve had what I think are the original Have a Day, Have a night posters for a long time but they’ve been used and loved to the point where they’re falling apart. It’s nice to know I can get some new ones for when I go to college. Anyway those are some hilarious posters, keep up the good work. “Have a night that if one wanted to be precise could only be described as verbose”
- “Verbose day” is one of my absolute favorites as well.
- Honduras, eh? Very cool!

Hi!!
Ruth says: Ey up! i bought this poster and all me friends who saw it ALL wanted one!!! it’s one of the coolest posters i’ve ever bought, thanks MANTIS!
Hidi says- My friend ruth here here owns one of these Amazing posters can ypu name any shops where your posters can be bought in the Chester / Cheshire area?! .
Hidi, I don’t really know of any specific stores that sell our posters. That may seem weird but I have a publisher who takes care of all that stuff for me, and they are super busy so I can’t really ask ‘em little things like that without them getting irritated. But, you can email them yourself: info@aquariusimages.com
Ruth, (that’s my moms name!) yes indeed coffee is the answer.

I tried to order both Have a day & night posters, but allposters.som said they no longer carried them. What’s up? Where can I get them?
Yes it’s true, Allposters stopped/sold out of the blue background “Have a Day” posters. We are hoping that they will pick up the new ones. In the meantime, you can purchase the new posters here: http://www.bitwisegifts.com/page/bg/PROD/12027

I have the original “have a day” poster from 1996 and I think it is probably one of the most creative posters I’ve ever seen! My favorite is the “have a demanding day.” The new poster is cool too.

I once had these posters, like others, from long ago and recently decided I must replace them. Thanks for still providing the ‘original’ so that those of who want to stay old school can do so. Have a Day (still love the smiley face, and still remember emailing you about it so many years ago when comments on blogs and websites weren’t existent) and Have a Night got me through many of both.
I recently purchased both “Have A Day” and “Have A Night” posters. They are very creative. My mom noticed on the “Have A Day” poster that there is a well-hidden “smiley face” in the center of it. Stand back from the poster a few feet and squint your eyes, you will notice it. It’s cool.

I love the “Have a Day” and “Have a Night” posters. I bought them back in High School. I dug them out recently and put them on my office/scrapbooking room wall for a mood lifter. My 2 mo old son loves looking at the contrast in the colors and my 5 year old daughter loves the smilies. My husband thinks I’m crazy, but I have always loved these posters and refuse to get rid of them!
Hey everyone. I am slated to be working on bringing back “Have a Day” this Fall. I basically gotta figure out a way to “re-introduce” it, and hope it goes well, and then we can get it going again with calendars and all that…thanks for all the emails and support,
[...] knew that Mantis Design had a copyright notice on the bottom of their Have a Day posters, but they certainly didn’t claim to own the original smiley [...]

I was lucky enough to get both the 2005 and 2007 ‘Have a Day…’ calendars and was disappointed that there wasn’t one for 2008. Will there be one for 2009? I’d love to add to my collection. My 12 and 14 year old neices also love the calendars and I thought they would make great Christmas gifts. Please let me know as the shopping season is upon us!
Thanks and keep SMILING!
